The long-rumored but little-seen here Smart cars from Europe will be on display at a dealership in Kirkland, Washington this weekend. According to specialty car company ZAP, the diminutive cars get 40 mpg and are two-thirds the size of a Mini Cooper.
The Green Car Company dealership will sell the cars for $27K and will also have vehicles that run on biodiesel and electric bikes on display.
The supply of 4-seat Smart cars is about to dry up as DaimlerChrysler recently announced it was killing the model, but would continue selling the 2-seat version.
