The winners of the sixth annual Bloggies were announced today. Officially known as the 2006 Weblog Awards, the Bloggies are handed out at the SXSW Interactive festival in Austin, TX.

- Weblog of the year, best new weblog, best community weblog, and other assorted accolades: PostSecret
- Best group weblog and lifetime achievement: BoingBoing
- Best blog application: Blogger
- Best tagline and best design: Joshuaink ("More love than a bus full of hippies")
- Best food blog: Vegan Lunch Box
- Best writing and best entertainment weblog: Go Fug Yourself
- Most humorous: Overheard in New York
- Best weblog about development and design: ProBlogger
