I just tested it out and created a simple set of slides in about ten minutes. See my presentation on Why Monkey Bites Rules. As you can gather, it's nothing special, but then again, I only spent ten minutes on it.

Using the presentation builder tool, you can import images, drawings, and text from other sources. Thumbstacks also offers a set of standard rich text formatting tools a la Word or PowerPoint. Presentations are saved on their server within your user account, so you can log in and edit your presentation any time you want. You can also share the slides with a public link or choose to keep your slides private. There's also an option to export your presentation as HTML files that you can download.

Thumbstacks is alpha software, and it's still a little buggy. The presentation builder didn't like my images — I was forced to upload them several times in order to get them to display, and even then they looked distended. These issues, along with others, are being worked out constantly, as noted in the Thumbstacks development blog. But still, this is a great debut for what should prove to be a useful tool for the road warriors among us.
