When the third season of Project Greenlight ended in May, fans were ecstatic. With Feast complete, it looked like Bravo’s reality series had finally produced a good movie. But eight months later, the tongue-in-cheek gorefest still has no release date from The Weinstein Company, despite rave reviews on IMDB.com. What’s up, Weinsteins? Don’t ask PGL coproducer Chris Moore. "Bob and Harvey could say they’re not focusing on these kinds of movies. They could say ’we don’t get it, so go with another company,’" Moore says. "They’re saying nothing. That tells me that they’re just going to sit on it and hope all of us will go away, and traditionally in Hollywood, we will." Not Feast director and unlikely PGL hero John Gulager. He refuses to believe the film won’t see light of day or - horror! - might go straight to DVD. "We’re not out to make DVD movies," he says. "We want to make movie movies."

Reality bites: Gulager’s Feast still isn’t in theaters.
