Celebrity worship takes many forms - fan clubs, impersonation, stalking. Craig Robinson reduces his favorite stars to bits. The Berlin-based designer calls his creations minipops and spares no one: His portfolio contains miniatures of musicians (Moby), actors (Ali G.), artists (Dalé), scientists (Stephen Hawking), even fictional heroes (Star Wars characters). Can you guess who's who on this page? If you can't get beyond the 30-pixel-tall David Hasselhoff with KITT at the top left, visit www.flipflopflyin.com. The site draws about 7,000 hits a day and has attracted the attention of celebs like Shins keyboardist Marty Crandall, who requested that his band get "popped." More than 800 of Robinson's little blips - including 100 never-before-seen illustrations - are collected in the new book Minipops. Who will inspire the next Mini-Me? "I don't know," he says. "Beards are fun." Steve Wozniak, consider yourself warned.
