Where do German ravers go when the sun rises? Liquidrom, an aquatic playground for those who like bathing in 98-degree salt water while listening to local DJs and relaxing nature sounds. Connected to Berlin's Tempodrom multimedia center, the teched-out spa features a state-of-the-art sound system that pumps out music above and below the surface of seven pools. Because audio distortion is based on water density, media artist Micky Remann developed speaker-calibration software that takes into account each pool's salinity and temperature so the stereo can perfectly reproduce complicated whale and dolphin songs. A €25 pass ($27) lets you listen to Willy wailing all day.
