As if the thrash-and-burn world of skateboarding weren't warped enough, Angus Leadley Brown's synchroballistic photography turns the tricks of the trade into fantastically twisted art. The Brit's modified panoramic cam allows him to advance the exposed frame at the same speed as his subject, blurring the image's background but keeping up with the action. For two years, Brown has set his sights on skaters as they pull off ollies, grabs, and kickflips - the perfect moves to demonstrate his camera's morphing effects. The basic system is the same used to capture everything from flying bullets to photo finishes.
