If you're not an astronaut - or astronomically wealthy - you won't be visiting the moon anytime soon. But you might make it to Las Vegas, where developer Michael Henderson aims to build the next-best thing: a lunar-themed megahotel. The $5 billion Moon Resort and Casino, a 10,000-room, 250-acre entertainment complex, will include a 35-story man-made sphere (scale model shown here) and a full-size replica of the International Space Station. Guests will be able to try moon-rock climbing or drive a NASA-style buggy over simulated terrain. Henderson is still seeking financial backers, but if you want to shoot for the moon, the resort is already taking reservations.
