Watch as the Butcher of the Balkans is brought to justice. Thomas Keenan, a plucky professor at New Yorks Bard College, is archiving the UN-led trial of former Serb leader Slobodan Milosevic at hague.bard.edu. The site, run by the Human Rights Project at Bard and the International Center for Transitional Justice, is the first to make a global trial globally accessible online. Each day, the trial is available, unedited, within hours, says Keenan. The video, audio, and text files appear in English, with links to translations. Meanwhile, in Serbia, where thousands watch the live TV feed in shame or rage, the joke goes that Milosevic lost power only to end up a soap opera star.
