Ever wonder if the Fotomat guy peeks at your pics as he runs them through the developer? Director Mark Romanek takes this paranoid scenario to the extreme. In One Hour Photo, Robin Williams plays Seymour Parrish, a SavMart lab technician who not only looks at but duplicates customer prints, and displays them in his home. More than a creep fest, the movie riffs on the notion that every aspect of life goes through a machine. (Think: PC, microwave, phone.) And who at times hasn't wanted, as Seymour does, a part of someone else's life to be theirs?
