Calendar Battleship The back-and-forth game played by overextended colleagues attempting to set up a meeting or an event.

Sock Puppet A fake identity assumed by an "expert" on a reader-review Web site (like Epinions), which serves to bolster his or her reputation.

U-Turn Effect The phenomenon of employees leaving brick-and-mortar companies for dotcoms and then trying to get their old jobs back when the new economy proves too volatile.
