Cell Phone for Calling Up Tunes

Samsung launches a cell phone in Korea that can store up to 15 minutes of music files. A US version will be ready for people to rock in the New Year with MP3s. By Jennifer Sullivan.

Digital music is making its way into car stereos, headphones, portable players, and home entertainment systems. Now, thanks to Samsung, music files can be played on a cell phone.

Earlier this month, Samsung Electronics, based in Korea, unveiled a sexy little phone that can hold 16MB of music, or about 15 minutes worth of tunes.
