Harvest Time

THE WIRED INVESTMENT PORTFOLIO

Time to reap what has been sowed. Heading into the dog days of summer – historically a tech-stock doldrum – I'm selling 1,000 shares of AOL and all of Lucent, MMC Networks, Nextel, and Pilot Network Services. I'm picking up 3,000 shares of the new AT&T-Liberty Media tracking stock and 6,000 shares of Autoweb.com. I'm also reaffirming my commitment to NETA, which fell 58 percent last month, by doubling up.
