All teens should think about college. I'm 12 and I've known what I want to be and where I want to go to school for two years. But the truth is, I'm not quite ready to set foot on campus. I learned a lot, though, from the College Board's Going Right On (GrO), a free multimedia program for kids who don't know much about college.
When I clicked on the main program, a little stick figure surrounded by four labels greeted me. I looked at "Money" first. As funky music blasted, a bar graph displayed how much I could earn per year, week, or hour depending on how much education I decided to get. The section could be improved by suggesting how I can afford college.
Other sections recommended written materials, helped me plan my high school years, and advised me to spend time doing things I like, because all work and no play makes me a dull girl!
