Sportscaster Marv Albert comes out of his sex-assault trial with his reputation obliterated and his career in ruins - but his urgent game-announcing staccato will still be featured on a football videogame coming to stores this fall.

Game maker Acclaim said Friday that, based on Albert's insistence he was innocent, it sent Quarterback Club '98 into production prior to the start of Albert's sex trial in Virginia. On Thursday, Albert pleaded guilty to misdemeanor assault-and-battery charges and admitted that he had brutally bitten a woman acqaintance and tried to force her into oral sex during an encournter in February.

"Acclaim's decision after the announcement [of the trial] to keep Mr. Albert's voice into the game directly based on assurances of his innocence, made by Mr. Albert to Acclaim," said Acclaim spokeswoman Katheryn Morris.

Albert is featured on another Acclaim title - NBA Jam Extreme.
