Another round in the browser wars began when Netscape released figures stating Navigator had 38 million users (the total number of Internet users is estimated at about 15 million). The company seems primed to claim the mantle of The Next Microsoft, and its corporate ego certainly appears to support that. Just a reminder: Microsoft charges real money for its products.
