The Anti-Gravity Room, a television show dedicated to comic-book culture and hosted by a trio of fresh-faced enthusiasts, might seem pretty lightweight at first glance. But as co-creator Josh Braun points out, "The whole world of media - games, music, movies - is influenced by comic books."

The series, inspired by 14-year-old Nick Scoullar's fannish public-access program based in New York, launched on the Sci-Fi Network last fall. For want of a better phrase, Braun refers to the show as "Entertainment Tonight for Generation X." Unlike Anti-Gravity co-host Shashi Bhatia, however, Entertainment Tonight's Mary Hart has probably never cheerfully extolled the virtues of anything with "a high mutant freak content."
