Dozens of trade mags, newsletters, and technical reports pass by my desk each week. I quickly scan most of them on their way to the trash. Some, though, are too good to toss, too useful to remain unread. Syllabus, a magazine about high-technology in education, is such a publication. It offers simple, to-the-point articles, reviews, and how-to's on educational software, library sciences, education over the Net, and other aspects of technology and teaching. Recommended, especially for the novice.

Syllabus: US$24 per year; free to qualified subscribers. PO Box 2716, Sunnyvale, CA 94087-0716.
