Dear Mr. Carroll: Apropos of your "review" of Cyborgasm (Wired 1.4, page 80), I think your classification of this "smut" as "a guy thing" must stem from your inexperience with what women find sexually stimulating and exciting. Perhaps you believe that Annie, Susie, and Mistress Kat are just digitized prostitutes who are performing solely for the pleasure of "the guys." Well, move aside, Romeo. What Annie Sprinkle, Susie Bright, and Mistress Kat can do for women, you'll never be able to do - free us from the ridiculous, pathetic view men like you have of healthy, active sexuality in living, breathing women. And, Jon, you can drop the "dirty fun" thing. Sex is only dirty to dirty little minds. The rest of us are out in the open, unashamed, having our cyborgasms in front of God and the whole world. Give a listen past the "clothespins on the nipples" thing, Jon. Maybe you'll find liberation in these three women-eroticists as well. Mary-Ann Greanier (too busy having orgasms to have a user ID) *Mary, I didn't say that smut was a guy thing, I said that I was only able to judge its eroticism from that perspective. As a guy, I found it dirty - dirty being a very good thing for smut to be. I'm very happy for anyone who is having orgasms in public or private; I am often grateful when they chose to share that on an attractively packaged CD.
